The European Champion Clubs Cup for Juniors (ECCCJ) is an annual athletics competition between the European athletics clubs that are the reigning junior champions at a national level. This year, Yasmin Liverpool (Year Twelve) was a part of the Dutch athletics club's team that competed.
Yasmin tells us about her experience: "Competing in the European Champion Clubs Cup in the First Division in Spain was incredible as I got the chance to compete against top level junior athletes from a range of different countries across Europe. Although my team finished 7th overall, I was very proud to have come 3rd place individually in both the 100m and the 400m sprints. As I am British, it was a rare privilege for me to be able to represent The Netherlands in an international athletics competition. It was also really great to bond with my team and get to know athletes from other countries. Overall, it was one of the best experiences I've ever had!"
