TEDxYouth@BSN is a highly anticipated event at The British School in The Netherlands (BSN). Involving all five of our schools, it aims to inform, inspire and unleash new ideas on global conversations.
It is a day filled with brilliant speakers from across our school community and beyond, mind-blowing conversation and interactive workshops supported by local and international partners.
Past Events
The BSN has hosted two TEDxYouth events so far. Both events were live-streamed across every BSN campus and around the world, making sure the conversation reached as wide an audience as possible.
BSN Student Voice
TEDxYouth@BSN is first and foremost a day for our students and school community. As an event, it is multidisciplinary and broad, featuring a diversity of students and staff, as well as external speakers coming from a range of disciplines both locally and internationally.
Standing on the notorious TED Red Dot provides a platform from which speakers can talk about an idea they are passionate about in front of a live audience of students and guests from the local community.
About TEDx
The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx programme, but individual TEDx events are planned and coordinated independently, under a free license granted by TED.
TEDxYouth
A TEDxYouth event is all about having fun, it is multidisciplinary and broad and features a diversity of speakers from across several disciplines.
Following the same format as TEDx, but orientated towards children and young people. That's not to say that adults can't also be involved, but the topics addressed should interest a younger audience.
