The Sixth Form at The British School in The Netherlands offers four Academic Pathways. Our qualifications all are well-established, well-recognised and highly valued by schools, universities and employers.
We have much to offer students in the Sixth Form academically. Students with these qualifications are able to apply to appropriate courses at colleges and universities around the world.
Sixth Form Students are also encouraged to participate in a broad range of Co-Curricular Activities and find a balance between the CCAs and studies. They will find support, as well as challenges, in their two years in Sixth Form.
Our Four Academic Pathways:
- A Levels pathway
- International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP)
- International Baccalaureate Career Related Programme (IBCP)
- BTEC Qualifications - Vocational pathway
Personal, Social, Health & Economic (PSHE) Education
The aim of the PSHE programme is to equip Sixth Form Students with the skills and knowledge that will help them develop as young people and navigate their world. Each PSHE session is about a topic or issue related to:
- Health and Wellbeing
- Living in the Wider World
- Relationships
- Study Skills
Our Guide to Sixth Form booklet, 'Choices', explains the Four Pathway model in more detail and includes information on the pastoral care and career guidance we offer in Sixth Form.
