At the BSN, we recruit highly qualified education professionals fully committed to providing outstanding education to children and young adults.
Our 575 staff have been recruited internationally and locally, bringing a wealth of experience and perspectives.
Our staff are proud of where they work and are dedicated to the students and families they serve.
When I see everyone working so collaboratively to have the greatest impact on the children's learning and wellbeing, I always feel immensely proud and inspired.

Highly-qualified and Motivated Staff
Teaching and learning staff are experienced in international and British education.
Together with our extensive teams of support staff, they help ensure that students learn and grow within a caring community. Centralised, specialist staff support whole-school activities, for example, in HR, Finance, Security and IT.
Our whole school mission puts the student firmly at its heart, and every staff member contributes to this collective purpose.
BSN Staff Values
Building on our school values and based on the BSN Character Profile, the BSN Staff Values are designed to represent the whole staff body: courage, perseverance, compassion, collaboration, creativity, curiosity, responsibility, and integrity. These have been chosen to reflect the characteristics we believe are essential for our staff to be successful in their roles and to make a positive contribution to our school community. They unite our staff in a shared ethos.
By living and exemplifying these values, we can create a positive and supportive working environment for all. We encourage all staff to reflect on these values and consider how they can bring them to life in their daily work.

Further improving our high standards.
BSN staff are supported and encouraged to pursue continuing professional development opportunities through our tailored in-house professional development. Staff remain motivated, possess up-to-date knowledge and skills, and continue to innovate, further improving our high standards. We strongly believe this has a significant positive impact on your children’s education.
As part of our ongoing work to improve, the BSN conducts a staff survey each year to hear from our staff what we are doing well and where we may need to improve.
The BSN is an equal opportunity employer and is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people. Aligned with the recommendations of the International Task Force on Child Protection, we hold ourselves to a high standard of effective recruiting practices with specific attention to child protection.
All applicants are subject to a rigorous screening process that includes:
- verification of qualifications;
- obtaining two supervisory references (including current employer's) and
- obtaining current and previous Police Checks.
For the majority of positions, initial video interviews will be conducted via Cammio. Any employment gaps in CVs will be addressed during the interview.
