The academic programme at our Senior Schools is based on the English National Curriculum but has been adapted to meet the needs of our international student body.
In Year 11 (ages 15 - 16), students sit the internationally recognised qualification of General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSEs).
In Year 12, when students are about 16 years old, they can choose to follow either English A Levels, BTECs, the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) or the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP).
The BSN is the only international school in the Netherlands to offer this choice. Both staff and students at the Senior Schools have considerable experience in helping those who transfer into the school to settle in quickly and become part of the community.
