July 6 is a big day in the calendar of every student waiting for their International Baccalaureate results and today we are celebrating the success of this years’ International Baccalaureate (IB) cohort, who have achieved an impressive set of results.
This year is especially noteworthy as, not only does it include a 100% pass rate yet again by our IB Diploma Programme students, but also it is fantastic to see our first cohort of IB Career-related Programme students successfully complete the qualification – a brilliant foundation for their future university courses.
The BSN students’ average score of 36.2 points, compared to the world average of 30, shows once more that the hard work and dedication of the students, the support of their parents and the excellent teaching at BSN is a winning combination.
“We are immensely proud of all our students - particularly the two students who achieved 44 points, placing them in the top 1% of the world, “ says James Oxlade, Acting Headteacher. “It’s great to see two years of endeavour paying off for these young people – their application and hard work to achieve these results – combined with dedication and support from their teachers cannot be understated.”
Many congratulations to these IB students and BSN Alumni – we will watch for great things to follow from them over the coming years.
