The BSN Language Centre has just completed the latest round of their Summer Intensive Language Courses for Adults. These English and Dutch courses cover grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and all four language learning skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. These are always popular and were well received by the students on both the English and Dutch courses.
Classes were held every morning at the BSN Language Centre's learning facility on the Leidschenveen Campus. In the afternoon, support was available for extra self-study with online resources.
The students attending this 2-week intensive programme were asked for their feedback. Emma Haji Mohamad from Syria attended the B2 English course and explains: “I live in Papendrecht, so the Language Centre is really good, otherwise I would not travel about two hours every day to get here. I like that the students are encouraged to talk a lot and that we do not only have to listen to the teacher’s lectures”.
Per Stenholm from Sweden was on the Intensive Dutch course and explained why he chose The BSN Language Centre: "I searched for a Dutch course close to The Hague and I stumbled upon The BSN Language Centre. When I mentioned it to some friends who have kids who go to BSN, they highly recommended taking a course at BSN because they are so satisfied with their children’s education. The teacher is very good, has lots of experience, is professional and very helpful. Besides the textbooks, she makes assignments for us and this combination really develops our Dutch knowledge. I am thinking of taking a Business English course at the Language Centre next.”
