After the impressive BTEC and A-Level results last Thursday, we are delighted to share our GCSE results for 2022.
Well Done to BSN Students Receiving Results Today
168 students were entered for 1491 examinations across 41 different subjects.
- 25% of all grades awarded were a 9 or an A*
- 63% of all students achieved 5 or more 9-7 (A*-A) grades
- 98% of all students achieved 5 or more 9-4 (A*-C) grades
Vicki Hallatt, Interim Headteacher of Senior School Voorschoten (SSV), welcomed the results:
I am so impressed with the Year 11 GCSE grades this year. The students achieved a set of results on par with top students globally and in the UK.
'There were some incredible individual results across a wide range of subjects, from English and Maths to Drama, Art and Design Technology; these students have demonstrated their wide-ranging talents.'
Heath Monk, CEO, said:
Many congratulations to this year’s GCSE students on an excellent set of results.
'They reflect the hard work, determination and resilience of our students, who, despite a difficult two years, have worked incredibly hard, often online. They should be extremely proud of themselves!'
Thanks to the BSN Community
Mr Monk recognises the importance of the support and guidance that the students have had through the years and in preparation for the GCSE exams:
A big thanks should also go to staff, parents and families for all of the support that they have given the students over the past two years.
BSN Sixth Form: Options to Support the Needs and Aspirations of our Students
Ms Hallatt is looking forward to welcoming the incoming Sixth Form students in September:
We are looking forward to the start of term with students choosing from among the varied pathways we offer here at the BSN Sixth Form.
'Whatever their goals are, students will find support, as well as challenges, in their two years in Sixth Form at the BSN.'
