Two representatives from BSN Senior School’s Young Enterprise group, BookTidy, took part in the Jong Ondernemen market day in Utrecht on Saturday 16 March. Maxime and Théophane impressed Young Enterprise officials with their group’s stall, product and customer-orientated approach and won second prize in the competition.
BookTidy is a team of Year 10 students; Alexander (CEO), Maxime (Secretary), Athenais (CFO), Shiv (Head of Advertising), Alexander (Head of Sales) and Théophane (Head of Marketing). They have formed a real company for a year.
The company’s product is the BookTidy. The BookTidy is a hand-made book holder, aimed at improving organization in students’ lockers at the Senior School. The book holders are made of wood and designed to perfectly fit in the school lockers. There is an adjustable divider so that books of all sizes can fit in the BookTidy. There is also a key holder so that students do not lose their keys.
These nifty hand-made book holders are on sale every Monday lunchtime in the Senior School Atrium for 6.99 euros. The BookTidy can be customised with an extra divider or laser-printed writing at 10 cents per character.
