Project Africa is very happy to announce that the computers fundraised for by the 2017 Team have arrived and been installed and networked last weekend at Ndege Secondary School. This is a significant event for Ndege School as it opens up a vast range of career opportunities to them that were not previously available.
To begin with, the school was designated an Agricultural School, with farm laboring being the main option for the students on graduation. With the addition of the Science Laboratory (Teams 2015 and 2016) and the Computer Laboratory (Teams 2016 and 2017), Ndege has been re-designated a Science and Technology School, with a specialist Computing Teacher appointed by the Ministry of Education to begin in January. This re-designation because of the resources supplied by Project Africa and the work done to support the development and delivery of a relevant curriculum will have a positive impact for generations to come as the Ndege students now have much wider options in life. Thank you to the entire BSN community for your continued support of Project Africa helping to break the poverty cycle..
