On Tuesday, 19 September, the BSN hosted the annual University Fair at Senior School Voorschoten.
The University Fair was an opportunity for students to gather information on specific career areas and speak to Higher Education representatives about course options. Including the significant attendance of BSN students, the Fair also welcomed a large number of students from other international schools from throughout the Netherlands; along with a record number of universities participating, this was the most successful University Fair to date.
Despite several representatives being delayed, or having to cancel due to fog problems at Schiphol, 60 universities attended from The Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain, UK, US, Austria, Canada, Belgium and Germany. Attendees included New York University, The University of British Columbia, Delft University of Technology, University of the Arts London, Regent’s University London, University of Southampton, and Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne.
Most importantly, this success of the University Fair benefitted our students. Many parents, students and attending staff members expressed how impressed they were with range and volume of information available to them.
