The first half of the hockey season finished on Saturday with all four BSN hockey teams playing home games at MHC Forescate. Between them, they scored an incredible 20 goals and our D team earned their first draw and their 6th goal of the season so far.
A team
Our sixth form team are in an incredibly strong position going into the winter break. They are only one point behind the 1st and 2nd placed teams, but they have played one match less, giving themselves a great chance to fight for the top spot once their league recommences in March.
B team
Our B team finished 2nd place in their league, with a huge +18 goal difference. This has put them in a brilliant position to go into an even higher league when they return outdoors in March.
C team
This incredibly popular team, which doesn’t stop growing, have improved tremendously this year and finished top of their league with an incredible +26 goal difference. They will face a fantastic challenge when they are placed in their new league in March.
D team
Our youngest team have made everyone proud since September with their incredible determination and enthusiasm! This team is our first year 6/7 combined team and they have worked together brilliantly since picking up their hockey sticks (many for the first time!) in September. We are looking forward to what this team will achieve when their season resumes in March.
There’s no rest for the hockey players now, however, as the indoor season gets underway this week and we wish them all the best in our second year of participating in this competition.
