On Sunday morning (far too early), 6 October 2019, 47 gymnasts departed for Brussels for the first competition of the season, The British School in the Netherlands (BSN) vs British School in Brussels (BSB). The squad consisted of long-standing gymnasts as well as brand new gymnasts, some as young as 6 years old, who experienced their first-ever competition.
The competition went well and all the girls pulled it out of the bag.
The results are as follows:
U9 all-around individual results – 3rd place | U9 all-round team results – 1st place |
U10 all-around individual results – 3rd place | U10 all-round team results – 1st place |
U11 all-around individual results – 3rd place & 1st place | U11 all-round team results – 1st place |
U13 all-around individual results – 1st place | U13 all-round team results – 2nd place |
U15 all-around individual results – 3rd place & 2nd place | U15 all-round team results – 2nd place |
O13 all-around individual results – 2nd place | O13 all-around team results – 1st place |
A huge thank you to the coaching staff for supporting the team and to the parents for chauffeuring your daughters during unsociable hours on a Sunday morning.
Also a special thanks to all the parents who were able to make the trip down to Brussels – it’s always nice to have BSN supporters in the crowd!
The girls have returned excited and more motivated than ever! We look forward to the next competition as well as preparations for ISGA.
