Every year on 27 April, the birth of the King of the Netherlands, King Willem-Alexander is celebrated across the country. Once again, this year, all three junior school Dutch departments ensured that our students shared in the Koningsdag (King's Day) festivities.
Students learnt the dance moves and words to the song 'Pasapas' in a fun activity that was done in schools nationwide. They also played 'koningsspelen' (King's games), bought and sold games and toys in the traditional 'vrijmarkt' (free market) and, of course, proudly covered themselves in orange, the national colour of the Netherlands.
