New students and parents enjoyed a warm introduction to the BSN community during the BSN Welcome Day event.
On Monday, 3 September, the BSN hosted its annual Welcome Day, a programme offered to help introduce new students and parents to the BSN campuses and their teachers, as well as inform them of all the services the community offers before the first day of school. Teachers, administration, staff members, the admissions team, family association and student leaders all came together to help over 650 new parents, students and family members feel informed, welcomed and ready for the term to begin.
The day began at the Junior Schools, where new students and parents were invited to meet their teachers, tour their classrooms and get to know one another. Buses took the Junior School families to Senior School Voorschoten, where everyone came together under an enormous marquee to receive introductions and some great advice from senior leadership, student leaders and other community members.
“If I want one thing to really stick with you, it’ll be to get involved, get engaged and enjoy this genuinely wonderful community at the BSN.” - CEO/Principal Kieran Earley.
Thank you to the BSN Admissions team for organising this event, and thank you to all participants for extending such a genuinely warm and inclusive welcome to the BSN’s newest community members!
