The BSN was proud to once again participate in the annual CPC Run in The Hague on 11 March.
Students, families and staff members came out to run, and despite some rain and mud in the morning, a great atmosphere and an impressive effort was seen by all! For the first time ever, all three junior schools collaborated in planning the event, and volunteers came out to host at a shared stand in the Malieveld to support students and families who were making the run. We’re very happy to say that 385 students represented the BSN, most running along alongside at least one parent. In addition, 70 staff members joined the BSN team to run 5k, 10k or the half marathon. All of the hard work and training in the months leading up to the CPC Run seem to have paid off, as many of our staff members ran personal bests on Sunday!
Following last year's successful partnership, Zein International Childcare once again hosted the BSN at their Benoordenhout location, The Estate. Team BSN members, family and friends stopped by to share in their success after the run. The BSN also joined forces with Project Africa – a worthy cause which directly benefits people in need. Volunteers from the Project Africa team were on hand to provide refreshments, childcare and look after the runners’ belongings, raising money to help support their many initiatives.
A heartfelt thank you to all of our volunteers who helped make this such a great day, as well as the parents, students and staff members who got involved and represented the BSN. We’re already looking forward to next year!
