BSN Senior School students joined over 3,200 students and teachers from 200 schools around the world who came together this week to participate in the The Hague International Model United Nations 2018.

The THIMUN conference, which this year is celebrating its 50th anniversary, is a five-day simulation of the United Nations for secondary school students. This conference allows student delegates to take on the roles of diplomats representing a nation or NGO. Year 12 student Aditya J. has done a magnificent job in his role of President of the General Assembly, and served as Master of Ceremonies at the Opening Ceremony on Monday, where he had the honour of introducing King Willem Alexander to officially open the conference.

Having the opportunity to speak out on topics of international and personal importance in a truly diverse, multicultural setting is such a formative experience that our students will be sure to remember. Well done to all of our Model UN students who participated in this year's THIMUN conference!
