After three days of tough competition for all our ISST athletes, the results are in and the BSN teams performed brilliantly.
In The Hague, the boys Basketball Team turned the form books on their head by not only finishing second in the tournament overall but also gaining promotion to the prestigious Division 1, something that hasn't been achieved by a BSN team for nearly ten years. James Carton was awarded an All Tournament Selection and was nominated for the Parker Bradford award for sportsmanship.
In Brussels, the boys Rugby Team came third and took bronze, after playing extremely well over the two days of competition. Exceptional performances from George Green Hix, Williams Ike-Joseph, Adam Kus and Matt Moss saw them gain recognition through the All Tournament Team.
In Cobham, the BSN Swim Team competed hard with the girls placed 2nd in the Varsity competition and the BSN came 6th in the overall rankings against some incredible swimmers.
In Frankfurt, the girls Basketball Team achieved a highly creditable fourth place - a really magnificent achievement. The girls could have possibly finished first or second but for a couple of key injuries. Yvonne Gerrits was awarded an All Tournament Selection.
None of these achievements would have been possible without the help of the team coaches and administrators, so a massive thank you to them as well as the parents and students who helped to support the teams.
Congratulations - it was a great ISST!
