Senior School drama students performed Shakespeare’s most popular comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream this week and they certainly did the Bard and BSN proud!
The distinct groupings of the four lovers, fairies, mechanicals and court allow for some great ensemble playing and each and every cast member handled their part skilfully.
The audience were treated to some beautiful speeches; from Helena's sharp observations about love to Oberon's beautiful "...bank where the wild thyme blows..."
The play within a play never fails to be funny and this one was no exception with some great comedy moments as Pyramus and Thisbe spy through the 'chink' of the wall.
