The BSN Concert Choir took their show on the road last week on a concert tour through beautiful Tuscany.
The Concert Choir, made up of students in years 6-8 from each of the BSN’s campuses, hit the road last week on their annual concert tour. The students and staff spent 5 days traveling through Tuscany, stopping along the way in beautiful, historic sites for sightseeing and of course, performing!
The group gave concerts in the Chiesa di San Martino in Siena, the Convento di Sant'agostino in San Gimignano and the Chiesa di San Remigio in Florence. Performing in these buildings’ historic interiors beneath intricate frescos was as an incredible experience for students. According to one audience member in San Gimignano, watching the choir perform in the beautiful Convento di Sant'agostino was the highlight of her trip to Italy!
Of course there was room for some fun as well! Between sampling the gelato in Florence, visiting the Leaning Tower of Pisa, taking in the sights in the cities and giving impromptu concerts in the piazzas, and finishing off with a final, fun day at a theme park – students had an all-around memorable trip.
