On Friday, 9 February, student musicians from St. George’s British International School travelled from Rome to spend the day making music with BSN students.
Members of both schools’ orchestras and choirs rehearsed throughout the day, splitting off into groups to learn challenging new music and share some pieces they’ve been working on this term. In the evening, the choirs and orchestras came together to put on a spectacular joint performance for teachers and parents.
With 120 singers in the choir and 60 players in the orchestra, Music Exchange Day was a fantastic opportunity for students to work on a large scale and collaborate with their peers from other international schools. Thank you to the faculty and staff from the BSN and St. George’s for making such a spectacular experience possible.
