We are pleased to confirm that we have obtained the necessary permits from the Gemeente Voorschoten to improve our sports facilities at Senior School with two brand new, all-weather sports pitches. The largest, will be a full sized, artificial pitch using latest industry standards and suitable for rugby and football with a second, smaller multi-use games area suitable for hockey and other sports.
The current fields are highly dependent on good weather as they are prone to flooding and freezing – these new pitches will provide the opportunity for students to enjoy year-round multiple sports at the BSN for all students. The new pitches will also provide greater opportunities for Co-Curricular Activities, House sports, COBIS Games preparations and competitive fixtures.
Contractors will break ground immediately after school has ended and completion will be in time for September and the start of the new school year.
