On Saturday October 6th, over 50 BSN alumni and former members of staff joined in a successful reunion at Senior School Voorschoten.
The school event was part of a whole weekend of reconnecting and celebrating in The Hague. Alumni from different years - some as far back as the class of '75 - joined their former teachers. Some alumni flew in from the US and Kuala Lumpur. This show what a truly international and global network the BSN has, all sharing similar memories.
The atmosphere at these alumni reunions is something quite remarkable. Flying in from the four corners of the globe and from many past decades these old students have an attachment to the school and to their time in The Netherlands that never ceases to move me. The laughter, the hugs, the memory-swapping, the sudden recognitions, teachers and students now on first name terms and firm friends – it is always an unforgettable experience.
