BSN Hockey Team celebrate their victory from their London trip

A BSN hockey team travelled to London on Friday to play matches against the American School of London (ASL) and the British School of Brussels (BSB).  They started in style with a 2-0 win over BSB, leaving them in high spirits for their second match against ASL which they also won 2-0. 

ASL showed inspiring sportsmanship cheering on the teams, spoiling us with fresh fruit and complimenting our girls’ skills.  After a night in a hotel in London with a well-deserved hot shower and evening of rest, we travelled back on Saturday morning to the sports ground for two more back to back matches.  Showing incredible stamina and determination, the team won against ASL 6-0 in the first game and fought hard in the second match to secure a 2-1 against BSB.  The team captain did an excellent job of keeping the girls motivated and team spirts high.  The matches provided a good warm up for the ISST hockey tournament being hosted by the BSN taking place in November.
