A Challenge Like No Other - "The Big Tree Planting Week At BSN"

_{BSN starts on the journey to reduce its net carbon emissions by planting 1300 trees}

 On the 13th of November, The big tree planting challenge run by the BSN Eco-committee kicked off.

_{The challenge is to plant 1,300 trees in a week. Every child, teacher and non-teaching member of the school will have the opportunity to plant a tree and add his or her name to it.}

_{As our student’s continue to grow through the school, so will the tree that they planted, eventually creating a 250m long wildlife hedge. This will then continue for the next 5 years with each new pupil joining the school planting a tree and adding their name to it. The environment will benefit from the increase in biodiversity, the school will benefit from off-setting its carbon footprint and we hope the students will benefit too by helping them feel more connected to the school and to nature.}
