On Saturday 21st April, CAS students were stationed at the Hoogvliet grocery store in Voorschoten to collect donations for the local Food Bank.

Students collected over 600 products from shoppers, in addition to raising a total of €550. The Chairman of the Food Bank, Mr Floris van Gulick, wrote to say:

“All in all this was a very successful collection. In the next few weeks our clients will receive a number of products they normally do not get such as fresh fruit and cheese. Once again thank you to the British School students and teachers for their support.”

The BSN has together with The Rotary Club been supporting the Voedselbank for the last 6 or 7 years. Thank you to these students for their dedication to this great cause!
