Trips have long been ingrained in the culture at the BSN. School trips, cultural excursions and residential visits represent a wealth of learning opportunities for students across all the age ranges. Most trips link closely with the curriculum and are designed to support and extend the work being undertaken in class. From local day trips and short residential trips right through to longer international expeditions, our students get to experience many different cultures, environments and activities.
While many trips are linked with a particular subject or topic, others are related to broader personal developmental aims of the school - providing opportunities for students to stretch and challenge themselves outside the classroom. These trips are often the highlight of a school year and in the past few years, students have gone to Kenya, Morocco, Beijing and Nepal amongst many other countries.
