The academic programme at the Senior School is based on the National Curriculum for England and Wales but has been adapted to meet the needs of our international student body. At age 16, students sit the internationally recognised qualification of General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSEs).
Post-age 16, students can choose to follow either English A-Levels, the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) or the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP).
The BSN is the only international school in the Netherlands to offer this choice. Both staff and students at the Senior School have considerable experience in helping those who transfer into the school to settle in quickly and become part of the community.
