The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is a rite of passage for many of our students, with a majority starting the Bronze Level in Year 10 and completing the Gold by the end of Year 13.

Monday 26th March was the Gold Award Presentation Ceremony where an incredible number of 37 Year 13’s received their Award from the Director in The Netherlands, Pascalle Cup. Students spoke during the ceremony of charity work that they had completed, performed on instruments that that they had learned and talked about their expedition escapades and sports skills they had all acquired during their time working towards the Award.

Globally, our school has one of the highest rates of completion of the Award, which attests to the strength of character that our students develop through participation in the Award and their time at the BSN.
