This week marks SSV’s second Equality Week, a week designed and curated by students to explore some contemporary issues around equality.
The finale of 2018’s Equality Week is International Day on Wednesday 14th March. We love our dynamic international community and want to celebrate our cultural heritage, our country of residence, and our nationalities. As part of our celebrations, we will have a non-uniform day where students are encouraged to wear something that represents part of their international heritage. This could be the colours of their flag or national dress and there will be prizes for the most international attire! Students are also welcome to bring and share some snacks from their country with their tutor group as part of the day.
