This past Thursday, 2 May many all over the globe participated in World Book Day. A day that celebrates all things literary - from the authors, illustrators, to the publishers, and -of course- the books!
World Book Day spanned across two days here at the BSN and no detail was overlooked. Special storytellers were brought into Junior School Leidschenveen to delight and enchant the students in a living story, students dressed the part of their favourite book (or possibly even movie) character at Junior School Diamanthorst, and students at Junior School Vlaskamp created a set of fictional character Trump cards.
It was magical to see students take ownership of their costumes and become their characters - truly being the example of what World Book Day is really all about.
